2025 Departmental Exams are Done!

Congratulations are in order to our fellow lab mates on passing their departmental exams! We’re incredibly proud of each of you! :)

3rd Year: Candidacy Exam

Maddie and Lyssa both passed and are now Ph.D. candidates!

Maddie’s exam was titled: “Towards Using Native Mass Spectrometry to Investigate How Protein & Ligand Properties Influence the Detection of Nonspecific Binding“ and was presented on June 17th.

Lyssa’s exam was titled: “Comparisons of ionization efficiencies and fragmentation patterns for neutral and negatively-charged carbohydrates“ and was presented on June 18th.

2nd Year: Pre-Candidacy Exam

Holly passed her pre-candidacy exam!!

Holly’s exam was titled “Characterization and Differentiation of Complex and Biological Glycans” and was presented on May 2nd.
