The Gallagher Lab Swings (and Misses)⛳🏌️

Last week, the Gallagher Lab decided to put our skills to the test outside of the lab! We traded our pipettes for golf clubs and headed to Topgolf to test our hand-eye coordination. Unfortunately, our swings showed neither accuracy nor precision as we swung (and missed) at golf balls, sending them flying in every direction across the driving range. Needless to say, our analytical skills may be better suited for the lab than the golf course! Top Golf proved to be a challenge for most, but a great time for all! There was even some friendly smack talk curtesy of Rabin. A few of our favorites included:

• “Brett’s technique is terrible”

• “Michael is following Maddie’s path” [this was not a compliment.]

• “You should try Brett’s shot!” followed by “Brett’s shot doesn’t work” under his breath

• “You have not hit [the ball] in the first swing ever - that is a record!”
